  • Birthkind courses are always led by a practising midwife, meaning everything you learn is grounded in up-to-date, evidence-based information. I currently work in a local maternity setting, supporting women through labour and birth, so I’m able to share both real-life experience and insight into what to expect, including local care and options.

  • Courses are designed so that everyone attending is due around the same time, meaning you’ll move through those early weeks of parenthood together and have the chance to build lasting connections.

Courses are advertised using due dates, so just book onto the course where your due date falls.

If your due month isn’t visible, or you would like to attend a different month, please feel free to contact me and I will advise you on which month is best.

  • Birthkind is not a dedicated hypnobirthing course, but as a qualified hypnobirthing teacher, I weave many of its principles throughout the course. This means you’ll learn practical tools to help you feel calm, confident and in control during birth, including breathing and relaxation techniques.

  • Absolutely - each booking includes space for you and one birth partner.

This is usually your partner, but you’re very welcome to bring whoever you feel will be supporting you during your birth.

Partners are encouraged to attend, as the course includes lots of practical guidance on how they can support you throughout labour and in the early days with your baby.

  • The venue is Sam and Jak’s - a restaurant in central cirencester. The restaurant is closed during the classes.

  • I will do everything I can to accommodate you in the next month. However, I do not run classes every month and you may have given birth by the time the missed session is being held again. If you know when booking that you cannot make one of the session dates, it may be worth considering booking your whole course a month earlier than planned so that you can attend all of the sessions. Please reach out to me if you are unsure what to do.

  • No - it’s for everyone! Whether it is your first or your fifth baby, Birthkind is happy to have you on the course.
