What makes Birthkind different to other antenatal classes in Cirencester?

Midwife-led, always

Every Birthkind course is designed and taught by a practising local midwife, giving you confidence that the information you receive is evidence-based, balanced and grounded in real experience caring for women and families.

Small group sizes

Classes are intentionally kept small, with a maximum of six couples. This creates a relaxed, welcoming environment where there's plenty of time to ask questions, whilst still giving you the opportunity to build lasting friendships with other local parents.

Birth partner preparation

Birth partners play a hugely important role throughout the course. You'll learn practical ways to support labour, birth and the early postnatal period, and each birth partner receives their own Birthkind Birth Partner Guide to take home.

Realistic postpartum preparation

Birthkind doesn't stop at birth. Half of the course is dedicated to the postnatal period, helping you feel just as prepared for those first hours, days and weeks with your baby as you do for labour itself.
